The first stage of tennis is essential and aimed at players aged between four and five years old. This stage will help build their strength and confidence with an emphasis on basic core skills such as movement and co-ordination as well as a simple introduction to the game. It will be played on a tennis court a quarter of the normal size.
The second stage of tennis is aimed at children aged between six and seven years old and introduces them to playing on a marked 3/4 length tennis court, with the use of a low bounce orange mini tennis ball. This allows them the time to play good and simple shots and improve their skills in hitting. It also includes a component of footwork and co-ordination.
The final stage of tennis is aimed at players aged between eight and ten years old. This stage is for children who show a strong interest in tennis and have developed a good swing technique. It will be played on a full court with softer green tennis balls which are lighter and slower than a normal pressurised ball. This program focuses on advanced techniques, tactics, how to rally with confidence and play points in a game situation.
This program is aimed at players aged between eight and twelve years old and ideal for children who have not gone through the Junior Program. It primarily focuses on the fundamentals of stroke production, techniques, tactics, ball placement and consistency and ensures that the child will enjoy playing tennis and play consistent shots.
This program is aimed at players aged between eleven and sixteen who have completed the Junior or Beginner Program or have the required skills to progress through to the Intermediate Program. Training will be conducted on a full size court played with normal compression yellow balls. It is designed to give the players a complete practice session including dead ball drills, live ball hitting and competitive play. Strength and Conditioning is also incorporated in to the training to improve players fitness and endurance which will prevent injuries through play.
This specialised program is designed for players who are motivated, enthusiastic, prepared to work hard and make sacrifices including those who want to advance to the elite level. It will develop the individual's self confidence and mental toughness. It will consist mainly of high intensity matches and advanced tennis drills such as balance, footwork and strength and conditioning. The ability to self motivate will ensure that individuals develop a great work ethic that will enable them to achieve great things on and off the court.
Private one-on-one lesson will enable players to tailor an individual program based on their skill level. It is aimed at players of any age from beginners to advanced and will include the development of certain tennis skill such as serves, volleys, footwork, groundstrokes and match tactics. Strength and Conditioning is available upon request and it consists of balance, core, agility, cardio and strength training.
This program is for those who would like to complete their lessons in a group setting amongst friends. It will focus on doubles match play, cross court foundation, volleying and positioning. It will also help players to understand their target areas, role on court and to play doubles with their partner successfully. It can be done with the flexibility on time and location of the coaching.
This program is a great and fun work out focusing on increasing the player's fitness level as well as the player's tennis game. It will consist of high intensity drills and exercises in keeping with their ability and general fitness level. All levels of players will benefit from this program.
No tennis coaching will be conducted.
This program is for players who are keen to hit some tennis balls for fun or focus on their technical changes in a feed ball or rally ball environment. A cardio workout is available upon request. Only two people (except the coach) are allowed for hitting/sparring lessons.
